Some or all of the above-mentioned defendants are successors-in-interest, parent companies, subsidiaries, or exist in other types that relate to the main subject which is referred in this document as defendant. They are the producers and providers of the herbicide and are legally responsible for actions of the main defendants. Basing on our information, some of them have changed their company names or merged with others with an attempt to shirk their responsibility in compensating for their production and supply of herbicide.
Defendant “ABC Chemical Companies 1 – 100”, whether assumed or true names, or other entities that beyond the plaintiff’s knowledge, are producers and suppliers of the herbicide used in the Vietnam War between 1961 and 1975, or the successors-in-interest for liability purposes.
