The program is part of the working trip of the VAVA delegation to several European countries, including France, Belgium, Poland and the Czech Republic. This journey aims to introduce VAVA's activities, as well as the work to overcome the consequences of Agent Orange/dioxin sprayed during the war in Vietnam, especially the fight for justice for Vietnamese AO victims, in order to regain justice for victims severely affected by Agent Orange/dioxin during the period between 1961 and 1971. At the same time, it seeks to mobilize domestic and foreign resources to support and care for AO victims.

Mr. Huynh Cong My, President of the General Union of Vietnamese in Belgium, pledged to actively inform overseas Vietnamese about the consequences of Agent Orange/dioxin that are still severe, leaving lasting consequences and haunting memories for many generations affected. At the same time, UGVB will actively mobilize resources through the events it holds, strengthening connections with associations in Belgium and Europe to spread information about VAVA. He affirmed: the Vietnamese communities in Belgium as well as overseas Vietnamese around the world, with the aspiration for a world of peace and sustainable development, are ready to join hands to share difficulties and improve the quality of life for AO victims.

Over the years, the Union has always accompanied voluntary activities, while making efforts to preserve and promote Vietnamese culture through meaningful activities such as the traditional Tet festival, Mid-Autumn Festival for children.
In the coming time, information about VAVA will be posted on the official information channels of UGVB. In return, UGVB's activities will also be introduced on the website and the Electronic Magazine of VAVA.
The General Union of Vietnamese in the Kingdom of Belgium hopes to receive sharing, support and contributions from overseas Vietnamese, as well as generations of Vietnamese in Belgium, Europe and the domestic communities, so that UGVB has more resources to support Agent Orange victims in the country.
