UNITY - LOVE - RESPONSIBILITY - FOR VICTIMS OF AO POXICOLOGY

A family badly in need of community support

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh’s family, who are living in My Phu Hamlet, My Hanh Dong Commune, Cai Lay Town, Tien Giang Province, consist of 6 people in which 5 are victims of Agent Orange. All of his four children suffer from severe mental disorder with symptoms of crazy people. His house, therefore, is like a “lunatic asylum”. His children usually have quarrel with and fight their neighbours. They even fight their parents at times.

At present, he has no house, nor a piece of land for cultivation. His family has to settle in a small bothy of around 20 square metre located on a mound in the middle of a field. As having no land, he and his wife work as freelancer. They own no valuable things, but some creaking bamboo beds, some torn mosquito nets, and some crumpled clothes.

They are badly in need of and grateful to the supports of all philanthropists and benefactors both at home and abroad to surmount and overcome their miserable conditions.
