UNITY - LOVE - RESPONSIBILITY - FOR VICTIMS OF AO POXICOLOGY

To: Mr. Pierre Grega, President of the Belgium – Vietnam Friendship Association

noi, 20 October, 2023

Dear Mr. Pierre Grega,

On behalf of the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange and 3 million Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange, I would like to express my sincere thank to you and members of the Belgium – Vietnam Friendship Association for your contribution to the struggle for justice for Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange. Particularly, on 6th October, 2023, the Belgian Chamber of Representatives passed Resolution 2046 on “Supporting the victims of Agent Orange” with 100% of approval votes.

The approval of the resolution in support of Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange has expressed the good sentiment of Belgian people, Government and Chamber of Representatives for Vietnamese people in general and victims of Agent Orange, in particular. We do hope that in the coming time, Belgian Government, businesses and people would provide us more support in helping the victims of Agent Orange, environmental detoxification, healthcare and livelihood assistance, etc.

Once again, I hope that you would work with the Belgian Government to put that resolution into life soon, and we would be very please to have your participation in alleviating the consequences of Agent Orange in Vietnam.

I wish you and your associates good health and happiness!

Through you, we would like to express our gratitude to members of the Belgian Federal Parliament, especially the Chamber of Representatives for their kindness to Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange.

Best regards, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Rinh

President of the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange
