Korean firm BONTECH visits VAVA’s Central Committee

On September 27, 2024, Ms. Choi Kyung Hye, Advisor of BONTECH Company Limited and Ms. Le Kyesun, Head of the Department of Korean Language under the Thang Long University, paid a working visit to the Central Committee of VAVA. Receiving the delegation were Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Chinh, VAVA’s President; Major General Do Hong Lam, Senior Colonel Pham Xuan hung, VAVA’s Vice President, together with its Head of External Affairs and Office.

At the reception, Ms Choi proposed a project of KOICA providing medical equipment, aiming to improving the quality of medical treatment for victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam. Beneficiaries of the project include: First phase: victims of Agent Orange at the Center for Social Protection of Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange/ Dioxin; Second phase will cover the victims in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and Da Nang and other regions.

Addressing at the visit, Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Huu Chinh, President of VAVA expressed his sincere thank and wish to cooperate with BONTECH in implementing the Project so that victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin can soon enjoy medical treatment.

After the reception, the guests paid a field trip to the Center for Social Protection of Vietnamese Victims of Agent Orange to gather data for building the project./.
